Aunty Michelle

Hi, my name is Michelle, or as many of my clients affectionately call me, "Aunty Michelle". I studied Veterinary Technology at Mount Ida College in Newton, MA and have 15 years of experience as a veterinary nurse in various fields such as emergency, surgery, general practice and hospital management.

After getting married and starting a family, I left the veterinary field to be a stay-at-home mom for our two girls and our fur babies. However, I soon realized that I missed taking care of animals, but didn't want to do it on a medical level. So, I started pet sitting for friends and family. Thanks to the many satisfied clients who helped me grow, I decided to start my own company along with my spouse Aaron in 2020.

We now have the opportunity to share our love of animals with awesome people who love and spoil their pets. Client satisfaction is very important to me, and I aim to effectively communicate with clients to provide them peace of mind.

Uncle Aaron

Hi there, my name is Aaron, but most people call me "Uncle Aaron" when it comes to animals. I've always had a soft spot for them. I grew up in central Maine, next to my grandparents' self-sustaining farm. Our family had many pets, including dogs, cats, bunnies, guinea pigs, reptiles, fish, hamsters, and whatever wildlife we found outside and brought home. But my first love was a yellow farm cat named Goldie. He was tough as nails, with many battle scars and part of his left ear missing, but he was tolerant of me, and I loved him.

When I met Michelle, I already had a pair of sister cats. Michelle had a Silky Terrier and a calico kitten. After our fur families merged, we added a tiny black kitten to the mix, and fast forward 16 years; we've welcomed two dogs, two children, and a pair of boy cats.

In 2020, we started Aunty Michelle's Dog Walking and Pet Sitting Services to provide exceptional pet care that prioritizes the animal's best interests with empathy and positive reinforcement. We aim to get to know your pet, gain their trust, and become an extension of your family.

Reilly

Hello, my name is Reilly and I have been part of Aunty Michelle's team since August 2022. I graduated from NECC with a major in Art and Design, focusing on photography. Photography has always been my passion, and I especially enjoy taking animal portraits. Having grown up with pets my whole life, including dogs, cats, fish, and even a lizard, being around animals has always been one of my favorite things. They have been my best friends throughout my life.

Working for Aunty Michelle has been one of the most fulfilling opportunities I have experienced. Aunty's knowledge and passion for her job are contagious, and I am grateful for what she teaches me daily. This job is like a dream come true, allowing me to work stress-free every day while helping people with their pet needs and making some new furry friends!

Kelly

Hello, my name is Kelly and I joined Aunty Michelle’s team in August 2023.

I have always loved all animals, big and small, and have enjoyed sharing that love with my family. Since we have been a homeschooling family for many years, we have had plenty of time to care for and enjoy a wide range of pets, from dogs and cats to rabbits and geckos, and many more in between.

Now that my family is growing up and our homeschooling students need less of my direct supervision, I decided that it’s time for a new adventure! And what could be more fun than spending time outdoors with dogs and playing with animals? When I’m not working with Aunty Michelle and the team, I homeschool 4 of my kids, read, knit, and spend time with my family.

I am so thankful for the opportunity to join Aunty Michelle’s team. I look forward to getting to know you and your pets and supporting you as you love and care for your animal family members.

Justin

Hi, my name is Justin, and I joined Aunty's team in September 2024. I grew up and live in Georgetown. There, I live with my parents, two younger brothers, and our two dogs: Kringle, the 13-year-old Lab-Hound mix, and Luna, the 3-year-old Pitty-Shepard mix. I have always loved animals, and I think it’s due to having always grown up around pets and having had multiple dogs and a cat while growing up. When I met my girlfriend in 2020, I was introduced to three amazing cats: Kris, a 13-year-old grey tabby; Journey, an 8-year-old with medium hair; and Belle, a 7-year-old grey and black tabby. I enjoy my time with all of my fur babies.

I graduated high school in 2018 and then went to New England College, where I finished my Health Sciences studies. However, I didn’t know what I wanted to do with my career. After graduation, I went home and was able to work with dogs for a year. I got experience as a walker and an assistant dog trainer before joining Aunty's team. This gave me an even better understanding of dogs and their amazing personalities. 

It’s been amazing here. I love learning from the great team and caring for your fur babies! I’m truly grateful to do a job that I can say I love.

Stephanie

Hi, I’m Stephanie, and I have been working with Aunty Michelle’s Pet Care since early 2025. I grew up with every kind of pet my siblings and I could bring into the house, from dogs and cats to a baby squirrel and an iguana. I earned my master’s degree in 2010 in mental health counseling, and it didn’t take long working in that field for the emotional and mental burnout to set in, prompting me to explore other job options. I worked at an animal care center and enjoyed learning different aspects of pet daycare, boarding, and some basic medical training, such as administering medication to diabetic animals. After a few years, I moved on to dog obedience training, going into homes and working with families to help them better communicate with their dogs. There’s nothing quite like working with an animal and seeing how their lives benefit from personalized care.  

For the past several years, I’ve been a domestic engineer, also known as a stay-at-home mom, caring for my own little humans, our blue Russian cat (Fievel), a red-eared slider turtle (Shaq), and some chickens (Oatmeal, Sunset, Athena, Heartbeat, Sam-I-am, and Darkwing). 

Now that my kids are older and in school, I wanted to find a fulfilling job that wouldn’t feel like work, and Aunty Michelle’s is where I found that. I look forward to meeting your pets and becoming a part of their world.

Hi! My name is Dylan, and I have been working as a dog walker and house sitter for several years. I have experience with a variety of animals, from reptiles to mammals, and I truly love all pets, big and small. However, I must admit that I am primarily a cat person at heart—who wouldn’t want to be one, even for just a day? In my free time, I enjoy going for walks in nature and at the beach!

Julian

Hi, my name is Julian, and I joined Aunty Michelle's team in the summer of 2026. I grew up with cats by my side throughout my whole life and loved and cared for them deeply; my childhood home was also filled with two hamsters, a dozen parakeets, and even a frog. For many years, I volunteered to walk and watch my neighbors' dogs whenever they traveled, and I quickly discovered how much I loved our walks together. Being around animals has always come naturally to me, and I am tuned in to how they're feeling, whether they're excited, anxious, or just need a little extra comfort.

Working with Michelle and her team has been such a fulfilling experience. I love getting to know each pet individually and building a real bond with them as I care for them, along with getting to know their owners along the way - it feels like becoming part of an extended family. I'm grateful for the opportunity to meet you and your pets!
